Do you remember? In November 2008, the Hannover Science Initiative hosted the first November der Wissenschaft (November of Science). 45 organisations from the areas of research, teaching and culture invited visitors to more than 125 events. The concept of experiencing the various institutions, offers and facets of science and studies in Hannover was received highly positive. About 40.000 people visited the open days, lectures, workshops or symposiums.

Next year, the November of Science will take place the second time. From 29 October to 21 November 2010, faculties, institutes, clubs, foundations, schools and cultural organisations can take part with their own events and offers.

The November of Science is a great opportunity to show and explain one’s own work in the areas of science, research, teaching and education to the public. At the same time, this project offers the chance to establish or deepen contact with other organisations.
